[One Year Time Skip]

Today was the first day that we went to school. Amanda had us homeschooled for our Junior and Senior years of kindergarten. We were six, and our ”mother ” Amanda couldn keep us held up as she wanted us to make friends with others.

Today was the first day that we were going to attend first grade. I didn have many expectations going in. In fact, I wouldn be surprised if I slept in the whole day, learning to count numbers.

Since it was our first time going to school, Amanda had driven us to school. I didn know why but I felt that this place was too big for a school that was dealing with children of our size.

Seeing that no one had questioned this, I decided to remove such thoughts. The four of us were in the same class. Amanda walked with us to our classrooms. Today was the first day of school, so some kids were crying.

I felt uncomfortable here. I might be able to deal with five kids at most, but dealing with more than ten was going to be a nightmare.

Arriving at our classroom, some kids were seated in their seats, and a few children were crying, unable to cope with their parents leaving them there.

”I have to leave now, have fun and make some friends. I will be picking you up after class. ” Amanda smiled as she left.

”Goodbye! ” Alice waved her arms, a little sad that she had left.

”Bye, Mom! ” Claire said, trying her best to sound happy.

”Bye! ” Iris might look like nothing had happened, but I could tell that she was sad.

”Later! ” I waved her a farewell.

The four of us weren going to cry since we had each other. We took an empty seat that was near each other. Since there wasn much to do, we began talking about various things.

As we continued to talk, an adult came in and showed up. Are teachers in this grade supposed to be this late?

”Everyone, could I have your attention? ” The teacher said with a soft voice that it was surprisingly easy for her to calm down most children.

”Today is my first time teaching, and I hope that we will all get along. ” Was this really her first time? Maybe this school was very professional in training someone like her.

”Im Ms. Gold, and its nice to meet you. ” She started to introduce herself to the class. Her introduction was pretty good.

”Some of you are here for the first time, and you will be a classmate for a year, so why don we introduce ourselves? ”

The people in the front first had to introduce themselves. Most of them were scared when they were picked. I shouldn be laughing at their introduction, but some of their introductions were funny.

It was finally one of my sisters turn to talk about themself. ”Iris Tucker. ” That was all she said, saying that she sat down. Talking to strangers isn much of a strong suit for her.

After Iris sat down, Alice stood up. ”Im Alice Tucker. I like to play with dolls. Nice to meet you all. ” Unlike Iris, who wanted to get over it, Alice spoke what she liked and gave a friendly tune to our class.

Claire was excited when she saw Alice talk about herself. ”Im Claire Tucker, and I love to run! ”

It was my turn, I had no reason to make friends with people my age, I would find it a burden if I had to keep communicating with someone that could destroy my brain cell. But I also had to find a way that they would not bother me just because I was alone.

”Im Rain Tucker, and I want to be like Old Man Li. ” I gave my introduction. I told them the half-truth. Some of them might know him, making me less of an outcast.

Since I was the last person in the back row, everyone had finished their introduction, it wasn all that bad and all.

”Today is the first day where you would attend school. Why don we use this chance and make some friends. ” It didn seem unreasonable when she said this. I don think anyone would have the motivation to learn on the first day of school.

Ms. Gold said as she went to her desk and watched our actions. People surround Alice and Claire since they seem like the easiest person to get along with. The kids hoped that they would become friends.

I was glad that people didn go to me, Iris looked a little disappointed, but that was to be expected when she only said her name.

I felt terrible that she was feeling lonely, so I came and talked to her. ”Do you want to get ice cream after school? ” Iris liked cold sweets as her favorite snack.

She looked at me like I was someone who knew her best.

Checking on how the others were doing, I could see Alice surrounded by a group of girls. Seeing that, I could tell that she was doing okay.

On the other hand, Claire had picked a fight with someone else, but it seems like they made an agreement on something, leaving it to that.

As I talked with Iris, I could see a kid coming toward us. He was staring at me, I didn know what he wanted, but I would prefer that it would just end in a few words.

”You said that you want to be Old Man Li is the best right? ” Hearing him, I remember saying that I wanted to be like him, but I never said that he was the best.

”I said that I want to be like him, not because he is the best. ” I didn know where this topic was going.

”Same thing, Mad King is much better! ” Saying that, he left. What was his problem? This is why I hate extreme fans.

Iris looked at him with a bit of distaste in her mouth, and all I did was sigh.

As time passed, the class ended, and we returned home.
