Chapter 2128: What to Do

After reading the book, Feng Wu had a better understanding of the Dongsang Kingdom.

Emperor Wu had cut all ties with Dongsang for the past decade.
As a result, most commoners didn’t know much about that kingdom.

The Dongsang Kingdom was to the northeast of the Junwu Empire.
Between them was the vast Peace Grassland.

The Dongsang Kingdom was less than one-tenth the size of the Junwu Empire.
It was surrounded by the ocean on three sides apart from the grassland.

The kingdom had too little land for too many people, and its economy was quite advanced.

Its population consisted of a single ethnicity.
Because of that, they were a very united people.

They had a great military force, and they were brave and good at fighting.

They were quick learners.

They valued martial prowess above all else and weren’t afraid of death.

When they set their sights on a target, they would do everything they could to fulfill it, even at the cost of their own lives.
It was also the reason why the Junwu Empire lost so miserably 13 years ago.

Had it not been for Master Linghu, the entire Junwu Empire would have been turned into a wasteland.

Feng Wu closed her eyes when she finished the book.

She could still see every word in her mind.

When she opened her eyes again, she had fully remembered the behavioral patterns of the Dongsang people.

Just then, she heard a voice outside.
“Your Royal Highness.”

“Yes?” Feng Wu raised her eyebrows.
“Feng, come in.”

If Feng was here to alert her to something, it had to be serious.

Feng came in and looked from Feng Wu to Jun Linyuan.
He then said, “His Majesty went to interrogate the ninja.”

Feng Wu nodded.
“You’ve told me that already.”

“The prisoner is… dead.” Feng smiled wryly.

“What?” Feng Wu frowned.
“How did that happen?”

Feng went on smiling wryly.
“His Majesty is coming this way.
Your Royal Highness can ask His Majesty yourself.”

Then, footsteps came from outside.

Emperor Wu had indeed arrived.

The door was slammed open.

The emperor walked in.

Feng Wu frowned.

Thump!

The dead body was tossed onto the ground.

Feng Wu checked the log in her head, and it said that the Saturn Team task was 70% completed.

That was to say, the prisoner was really dead.

Feng Wu and Jun Linyuan looked at each other, and both seemed displeased.

Feng Wu stared at Emperor Wu.

Jun Linyuan almost got himself killed in the process of catching this man, but the emperor killed him!

Emperor Wu had been quite intimidating at first, but the look in Feng Wu’s eyes made him uneasy.

He cleared his throat.
“He’s dead already.
Are you going to blame me now?”

Feng Wu stared at Emperor Wu.
“I caught this prisoner.”

Emperor Wu waved him off.
“That was why I interrogated him myself.
You hurt him too badly.
I only used a little force, but his bones broke and he dropped dead.
Why did you have to injure him so badly?”

Feng Wu looked at him in resignation.

“Your Majesty, are you saying that you don’t need to take any responsibility at all?

“And I’m the one to blame?”

Emperor Wu said, “Why do you care about the result so much? He’s dead now.
What do you think we should do?”

Why do you care about the result so much? Feng Wu couldn’t believe that question.
Was the emperor joking?

“I didn’t kill him.
How should I know what to do?” Feng Wu smirked.
