Hannah’s eyes opened wide as her gaze followed my finger.
The boss of the poisonous mushroom dungeon was three meters tall with a wide body.
On top it had a wide umbrella like thing, it’s lower body was red with purple spots.
It’s look seemed to scream poisonous.
It had thick arms and short stubby legs, its face was situated lower down on its body than you would have thought but it’s mouth was filled with large fangs.

The boss started to move although it was pretty slow.

If we start the attack before it can get close or summon the smaller mushrooms then we can’t be counterattacked.
It has a large amount of HP so this is a good tactic to shave off a bit of it before it can properly engage us.

“Zephyrus I know you’re having fun but don’t get too carried away.

Hannah was now struggling to change out the ability balls but it probably would have been faster to just wait for the cooldown to end.

I was very satisfied with their power when seeing how much damage they dealt to the boss.
They were also pretty flashy and I was happy about that as well.

Rana has a habit of just casting her magic whenever the cooldown is over.
And this happened because my skills caused her to be facing me when it was.
Although I’ll forgive her this time since she was Tsundere about it.

When the boss got back up it was extremely angry and its attention was focused entirely on…me.

When it shakes the large umbrella thing on top of its head it releases spores that will cause poison if they’re touched.
The only problem was that it was coming directly at me, it was kind of scary.”

After Ciara used her skills the target changed to her, with a Abnormal state resistance of level 10 the spore attack shouldn’t have much effect on her.

The boss had slammed it’s fist into Ciara’s shield causing a loud bang.
It had a tremendous amount of power and managed to damage Ciara through her shield.

“It’s going to summon! Everyone fall back!”

Spores game out from the boss falling to the ground.
Once there they began to grow until there were a total of thirty smaller mushrooms.
It would have been dangerous if Ciara had been surrounded.
However she had fallen back and there was now two of use to split them between.

“{Appeal}!”

Ciara’s provocation hadn’t finished it’s cooldown yet but I started off by taking the attention of a dozen or so.

Everyone attack and it seemed that Hannah had successfully replaced her ability ball.

Ciara was keeping the attention of the other mushrooms while everyone helped me out.
Now that there was only three left in front of me I asked everyone to go help out Ciara.

“{Guard Rush}!”

Guard rush was an attack that allowed Ciara to defend at the same time.
It wasn’t as flashy as some of the other skills but it was very practical.
And soon we had annihilated the smaller mushrooms.
Then we all once again began to attack Mama slowly lowering it’s HP.

After that it summoned the smaller mushrooms two more times and we dealt with them the same way.
We continued our attack until the boss only had 10% of it’s health left.
From that point it’s hands lit on fire and it became enraged.
I quickly shouted for Ciara to fall back, although it seems odd for a mushroom to be on fire, a flaming Mama punch is dangerous even for a tank.
Of course there are countermeasures for it.

“Ciara fall back.
We’re going to attack from a distance!”

“Ma!?”

Even if it has high damage capability right now it doesn’t matter if it can’t actually land the attack.
After everyone’s attacks landed the HP finally became 0 and caused it to disappear leaving behind several drops and a single silver chest.
