“Ok let’s change the plan a little today.”

“Hmm? OK, why?”

Hannah shook her head in confusion.
I was telling Hannah about the plan of collecting materials from the 6 to 9th floors, defeating the boss then returning.
But when I saw the [berserkers] I had a different idea.

“Until now, the lower level dungeons have been monopolized by us.
But that [berserker] party will probably pass the tutorial exam.”

“Yeah, that means we will have competition right?”

“Yeah, it’s safe to say our pace is faster by far but we’ve run out of time to relax.”

Our pace has been significantly faster than usual.
I didn’t think there would be any competitors yet but the part of [berserker]s jeopardized our superiority.
Did they really already get to level 5? I wonder if they did David’s training method.
[Berserker] is considered a strong job even though it’s a joke.

Technically it’s SUP does surpass [hero] so numerically at least it’s superior.
At the beginning it does certainly have overwhelming stats compared to anything as like with [swordsman] who only has 12SUP per level up.
With every level up the status difference only increases.

On the other hand [berserker] can’t learn any other skills besides its unique one.

What I mean is.

“We need to raise our level so we don’t lose out to the [berserker] squad.”
That.

“Huh? How is that different from what we’ve been doing? ”

It’s completely different, until now the main objective has been getting Hannah used to the dungeon and collecting materials.

But now, we’re going hunting.

“Our goal is the tenth floor.
The boss room.”

The boss monster has a high status and is tough, if we aren’t careful we’ll get annihilated.
But the reward for beating the boss is great.
There are 3 different kinds of drops, the common drops, boss drops, and treasure chests.
You’ll get about 10 to 20 items.
Of course theres the experience points as well.
The tutorial dungeon goblin is an exception as while he’s in the inner most room he’s not technically a boss.

Doing a boss run was an official tactic recommended in [Dun-life] so that was my suggestion.

“Can we beat the boss at our level?”

There’s no doubt that Hannah would not be able to defeat it on her own, in fact she could end up getting in the way.
Since she isn’t set up for combat status wise.

But I can most likely solo the boss, so it’s it’s not a problem.
For that purpose I distributed my SUP.

__________

I put most of my points into HP and VIT this time around.
The boss battle won’t be finished in one shot like the tutorial boss, so its necessary to prepare for the long game.

Since I haven’t got any recovery skills I have to raise my defense and stamina or ill be wiped out.
And recovery potions aren’t free.

Although I was sure I’d have room to spare in the boss fight because of the sky equipment.

Sky sword: Attack Power 85, Magic Power 51, Holy Attribute

Sky shield: Defensive power 31, magic defense power 20, holy attribute damage 50% cut

Sky armor: Defense 45, Magic Defense 32, Light Damage 20% Cut

Series Bonus: [Abnormal Condition Resistance LV3]

First of all, the attack power and defense power is higher than my status.
And depending on the type, it will cut any I damage receive.
Then because I have all the equipment I receive the [Abnormal Condition Resistance] bonus.

It’s normally meant to be used in the intermediate dungeons so the boss of a lower level dungeon won’t be able to put up much of a fight against it.

Together Hannah and I followed the shortest route to the boss room.
I slaughtered everything leaving Hannah to pick up the drops heading straight to the boss room.
Except for the place where chest randomly pop up, we stopped by there.

“Alright a chest!”

“Zephyrus, can I open it this time?”

“Go ahead.”

“Yay!”

There’s no traps in the beginner dungeon.
My hearts pounding thinking of what might be in the chest.
It’s fun just watching Hannah open it.

Tension dropped as soon as she opened it but speed running through the dungeon was worth it.
We made it to the boss room by noon.

By the way the contents of the chest was an iron sword.
Hannah was disappointed and decided to sell it.
