Chapter 27: I’ll Learn Whatever Yu Learns

“Oh, by the way, Professor Hank, it seems like this aircraft is not yet completed.
It encompasses multiple scientific research fields, such as engineering, electronics, computer information technology, weapon systems, and more.
Are you trying to let Jean and me explore our own interests within this aircraft?” Seeing Hank and Jean enthusiastically discussing Summoner’s Rift, and even wanting to pull him into it, Yu Feng felt somewhat helpless.

“Building an aircraft is a massive and extremely complex engineering feat.
You need to understand the basics of flight principles, aerodynamics, aircraft structures, as well as solid physics knowledge, structural mechanics, principles and structures of engines, and various radio and navigation technologies.
Additionally, you would need to grasp mechanical design and drafting, maintenance program design, and so on.”

“But in simple terms, we can categorize it as the ‘design and manufacturing’ field.”

Looking at the slightly furrowed brows on Yu Feng and Jean’s faces, Hank smiled and continued, “Indeed, I want to stimulate your interests through the various manufacturing technologies of this Blackbird aircraft.
However, I know that both of you are top students and probably won’t be satisfied with just one narrow field.
So, I’ve integrated several different scientific fields and categorized them accordingly.”

“The ‘design and manufacturing’ field I just mentioned is one of the major categories.”

“I see.” Yu Feng and Jean both nodded.

In fact, the so-called ‘design and manufacturing’ field couldn’t encompass all the technologies contained within the aircraft.
It could only be considered as a collection of the technological essence contained within the aircraft.

Yu Feng had a general understanding of Hank’s intentions.

“So, Professor Hank, what other categories are available for selection?” Jean asked.

Yu Feng looked at Hank, feeling a growing sense of excitement.
He initially thought that Hank would start by teaching them some basic and ordinary knowledge, and even if they determined their respective areas of interest, it would only be divided into fields like physics, chemistry, biology, and so on.

But it seemed that wasn’t the case.

Hank appeared to have a unique and unconventional plan.

He had put genuine thought into Yu Feng’s and Jean’s future.

One could even say that this path of becoming an all-around inventor in the design and manufacturing field seemed tailored for Yu Feng, a boy with a strong sense of exploration and high perseverance!

Based on this approach, Hank probably prepared two major categories.

One was an all-around inventor in the field of engineering, tailored for Yu Feng.

And the other… according to Hank’s expertise, it should be related to biological genetics, specifically prepared for Jean.

Upon hearing Jean’s question, Hank no longer kept it a mystery and said directly, “The other option, Jean, is different from the design and manufacturing field.

A peculiar blue light immediately filled the Blackbird aircraft, and as these lights illuminated the interior, various images appeared on the walls.
There were X-ray images displaying different bone structures, electron microscope projections of various cells, and even some rather gruesome anatomical drawings.

“This…”

Seeing those anatomical drawings, Jean’s face tensed slightly, but her intense curiosity clearly overshadowed any fear of those gruesome images.
She widened her eyes, stared without blinking, and couldn’t help murmuring, “These seem to have a lot in common with biomedical science.
These anatomical drawings are so clear, much clearer than those in books.
They startled me at first…”

Witnessing this scene, Hank nodded and smiled.

Yu Feng’s lips also curled up.

It was apparent that Jean’s talents and interests lay in the field of biology.
In fact, Jean grew up wanting to become a doctor.

“Since I was young, I’ve always wanted to become a doctor!”

Yu, Jean has already chosen her field of interest.
What about you? Are you interested in studying genetics and genealogy or the design and manufacturing category?” Hank looked at Yu Feng, who was standing beside him.

“As for me…” Yu Feng looked at Hank, smiled slightly, and without any hesitation, he said, “I want to study both!”

“Oh… Ah?!” Hank was taken aback by Yu Feng’s words.

Jean also blinked in surprise, but quickly her eyes lit up, and she rapidly said to Hank, “Professor Hank, I changed my mind! I want to learn whatever Yu learns!”
