Chapter 3: Fear of the KNOWN

”Ji Eun ”

Ji Eun opened her eyes upon hearing the moon goddess voice calling her.

She raise up from her bed and look around but all she can see is white, her bed is the only one whos in the same color as hers so she knows the moon goddess called her in her dreams.

”Why did you call me here? ” She asked, even though she knows the reasons why she visited her dreams.

”I know you finally saw him, Deity of hearts ” She sighs and raised her left eyebrow.

”It means, Ill need to talk to him; letting him know about my past and also to let him know how he was born with the same face as my ex mate? ” Her expressions darken upon explaining what she needs to do.

”No, Ji Eun… learning the past from you isn not easy to believe and the facts the Im- ” Ji Eun cut her off. Its a sin but she can bear to hear his name over and over again. Its been 800 years since she committed that mistake.

”Don ! Don ever try to bring him up nor utter his name, moon goddess. I did a gravely mistake, you are punishing me through the years by waiting for his reincarnation and also helping the couple to mend and fix the troubles. Through the years, I have never forgotten how I did, so please… Im begging you not to bring up his name. ” Ji Eun closed her eyes as she begged the moon goddess.

”You deserve all those punishments; also, the power I gave you is for the couples who might need your help indeed. So you can see that commitment is not that scary Ji Eun… All of the years you spent as the deity of hearts is to let you know what love is and what it can possibly do to people or to wolves. And I saw how you improved and how you became attached to this, so Ji Eun, talking to him isn that bad, besides hes the most understanding wolf, Ive seen except Jin of course. ” Ji Eun just glared at nowhere, she can see the moon goddess but she knows it, this woman is trying to let her know that everything she does is the things she needs to learn.

”I never change, nor learn something… those wolves are making me mad every time they call me for help, they can try harder to push the limits so they can resolve their issue! ” She continue to deny herself making the moon goddess laugh at her.

”You indeed changed a lot, Ji Eun. ” The moon goddess is still laughing upon hearing the words came out from the old heartless woman.

”If you just visit me to laugh at me, you just wasted you time here! ” She laid back on the bed closing her eyes trying to think differently to escape the dream.

”Talk to him that will be easy, because Jeon Jungkook already found his mate. ” With that she woke up making her opened her eyes and look around the area.

The walls is the same in her room, the things is also in there so she really back to reality. She sighed and looks up to the ceiling to her room where she can see the stars and also the big white moon.

”Why do you need to interrupt my sleep… ”She just muttered but she realizes that the moon goddess is right about everything.

Ever since, even she hasn known, she changed a lot. Her heart also knew the word kindness and love, she acknowledged the commitment is not scary, and love will never be put you in danger, unless someone does so.

”But I feel relieve upon seeing him or his face, I also saw his eyes glowed as he saw his mate… I know his mate will take good care of him more than I supposed to do if we really end up together. ” Ji Eun smiled, but instead of sleeping she just focus herself embroidering a new handkerchief she might use soon.

At Winterland packs

”We will go first! You know… ” Namjoon wiggling his eyebrows then spare a naughty glance on his husband.

”Namjoon! ” Jin slaps Namjoon arms before apologizing to their family, the guest already left… the only wolves whose left is their family, Namjoons and Jins.

”Haha, its okay! I mean, its normal since you both are newlyweds why don you guys go first? ” Jung Hoseok winks at Jin. Hes a beta in Namjoons clan also known to be the playboy in the clan.

”Hoseok! ” Jimin screams. Hes an Alpha from Jins clan, they meet just today but they feel close already, Kim Taehyung makes them close.

”Why don you just go and leave this two butternuts alone?! ” The beautiful omega rolled playfully his eyes, but looked softly in Jins.

Jin and Namjoon leave after they bid their goodbyes to their parents and friends.

”Kim Taehyung! Don act like you didn just fold yourself towards the alpha earlier! ” Jimin teases him.

”Right! I saw your eyes Tae! Hes your mate right?! ” Hoseok happily asks.

Taehyung looked down shyly playing with his fingers trying to ignore the two.

”But why are you alone now? I mean if you find him why are you not with him. ” Jimin asks curiously to his soulmate, his glance at him worriedly.

”Min, you don have to be worried, he just said that we will meet again, its just that earlier- ”

Jimin cut him off. ”He saw the deity… ” Taehyung nodded.

”He said, he needs to talk to her about something then he will talk to me, about us being mate, and he will explain everything after finding the answers he need. ” Hoseok and Jimin nodded at him understanding the matter about them.

”You guys just met anyway, besides no one will snatch him out of you because you are mates. ”Hoseok smiles at him and Taehyung smiled weakly at him.

”You all heard about the story about the deity right? The myth they
e talking about… ” Jimin suddenly said making the two nodded at him.

”Well, maybe Jungkook just need something to figure out… ” Taehyung nodded at himself and trying not to thinking anything about the talks they have earlier while dancing.

Three weeks later…

Ji Eun eyebrows furrowed as she heard a knock on her door in her forest house. No one has ever know where she lived even Jin doesn know that she lives here in the forest.

//intruder// she thought…

She get her weapon ready to attack the person whos still knocking at her door, she quickly opened it then attack the person.

”Yah! ” The voice of a man shouted as he avoided the attack of the deity.

Ji Eun on the other hand was surprised to see the man standing on her door.

”What the hell are you doing here, L?! ” She shouted irritatingly as she acknowledged the person, well hes not really a mortal, because L is an immortal, an angel and the messenger of moon goddess.

”You know the answer already deity; and you don have to attack me like that! Even if I am an immortal, my skin will have scar for few minutes! ” Ji Eun rolled her eyes but invited the angel on her house.

”She sent you faster than I thought, huh, she can wait for me to leave the realm quickly. ” Ji Eun poured a tea on the cup and placed it on the wooden table in front of the angel.

”No, shes didn order me that… She actually told me to accompany you because its been three weeks but you still hiding here and trying to make yourself busy with this things ” L points the handkerchiefs that placed on the small desk that placed near on the window.

Ji Eun laughs. ”Im just gathering my thoughts on how I will approach the young man L; I can believe she sent you here to accompany me when both of us hate each other presence. ” He just shake his head over the things she said.

”And I believed that three weeks is enough for you to come back to the Winterland… ” L raised his left eyebrow and a smirk plastered on his face.

//I want to erase the smirk on his face, this **tard is trying to get on my nerves// She closed her eyes trying to calm down.

e just here to annoy me, replacing your master would you like me to let those wolves eat you?! ” L laughs out loud as he heard the deitys voice.

”Hahaha! They can kill me Ji Eun, as far as I know those wolves you are saying can hurt an innocent like me! ” Ji Eun bit his lower lip stopping herself to be angrier than she is.

”Then, I would like if you can come with me, hide your wings so we can go in peace please… Just use your telepathy. ” Ji Eun left the living room after she invited the angel to join her.

”Okay then, lets leave tonight! ” L shouted smiling ear to ear.
