Oh, what is it? I walk around and place my things down.

”You had gotten the infinite luck skill after leaving the city. ” Klotic adds. ”You are now able to be knowledgeable of this skill and use it however you like. ”

e a buddy so I can be mad. I walk over to the glittering water that seems to have the only source of light. Then my bunny moves a bit in my pouch. She woke up….

”Hey, you
e finally awake again. ” I say. ”Do you wanna get out the pouch? ”

The response was a bit small, but I got a couple of kicks to be free. So, I gently took her out the pouch and placed her on the ground in front of me. I smiled and lightly pet her, she looked at me normally, unlike the first time I saw her.

”I need to give you a name… ” I say. ”How about… ”

Shes a white bunny, so I need to give a name that represents her. Luna maybe? No thats too common… Ill name her after Talia, she was my fierce manager, and my beloved partner..

”Ill name you Jalia. ” I giggle. ”You, Jalia, are my new partner. ”

My new partner, Jalia, accepted me as she slowly got her way onto my lap. I gladly stayed that way until she got off.

”Hey, Jalia, if you can understand what Im saying… ” I say. ”I want you to do exactly as I say. ”

Jalia turns her head sideways. Well seems like someone is confused..

”Okay, nod 2 times. ” I say.

She nods 2 times; Im amazed on the first try. Ok, this is great, but she can move her body too much or it will hurt..

”Now, blink 5 times, look to your right, then move your ears if you can. ” I say.

She does it, all that I told her to do. I wanted to just pick her up and kiss her so badly, but she wasn allowed to move too much. Instead, I just lightly petted her on the head for that moment. Klotic, can you look into Jalia and see if she was a human before?.

”I have confirmed, she was put under a magic spell that is very complex. ” Klotic says. ”It seemed to have been by a powerful mage that is now deceased. ”

Why would a mage do something like this to someone? It makes no sense..

”I cannot find any information on that. ” Klotic says.

Well, that was a rhetorical question, but um do you know how they died at least?.

”The usage of all their soul energy that they had left. ” Klotic responds.

That seems so reckless though, is there any way I could figure out how to look into the past?.

”There is time magic for that, ” Klotic adds. ”I will inform you that there is also memory magic as well. ”

Memory magic? So, like, I could look back in her memories. Then I could know what happened?. I look at Jalia with hope.

”Correct. ” Klotic says. ”You can learn to use this magic by completing a certain quest. ”

A quest… Do you know what the quest is?

”It is a quest of adventuring into the dark forest lands. ” Klotic says.

Okay you can stop right there; Ill need to get stronger in order to leave this place… on my own. I frown at the thought of having to leave Jalia.

”I just got to save you Jalia, you will be human again, but now I need to get stronger. ” I say picking her up. ”At the moment, I need to get practicing on my illusion magic, haven been able to. ”

I place Jalia next to my bag, then I just take out a pillow for her to sleep on. Once Im done getting her on her little bed I step away and focus.

”I don know what Im supposed to do with this, but Im guessing I need to focus a lot for it to work. ” I say.

”Permission to speak freely in the atmospheric world? ” Klotic asks.

”Uh… sure, whatever that means. ” I say.

Klotic disappears from my head, but a bright yellow light appears in front of me. Its so bright I need to shield my eyes. Though after it dims down, its in a form of a man. I look around this and touch it, solid like rock.

”Klotic? ” I stare in awe.

”Yes, I am Klotic. ” He says.

”Woah dude. ” I say. ”Why didn you tell me about this earlier? ”

”I was not certain if you would be pleased about my ability to change forms. ” Klotic says. ”I am allowed to assist you on your journeys, helping in any way possible. ”

”No this is amazing! ” I put my hands on his shoulders. ”You could help me learn to fight, use magic and most of all, you could help watch over Jalia! ”

”I have the ability to do anything that requires me to assist you. ” Klotic says. ”Anything other than that is canceled in my doing. ”

”Wait, why nothing else? ” I ask. ”Are you forced, to like, be in an assistant only position or something? ”

”That can be one way to have it said, Al Krelin. ” Klotic adds. ”I cannot do anything other than be of help to you, unless… ”

”Unless what? ” I ask.

”Unless you use a spell to give me my own life. ” Klotic says. ”Although, it is possible to be as complex as the spell put on your new partner, Jalia. ”

”Okay then, Ill work hard for the both of you! ” I smile. ”Also, just call me Al. ”

”Yes, Al. ” Klotic says.

”Okay now lets get practicing on this illusion spell. ” I pull up my sleeves. ”Klotic, can you explain to me how to do the spell? ”

”First you need to learn the incantation to understand the feeling of the power you create. ” Klotic says. ”It is, May what I know be seen and what I have seen be known. That is the incantation. ”

”Okay… here goes nothing. ” I say. ”May what I know be seen… and what I have seen to be known. ”

Dark clouds form a body in front of me. I didn see clearly before trying to walk towards it, but it was… me. Klotic and Jalia look my way and look back at the illusion.

”My old body is actually here… ” I say. ”I didn think it would really work… ”

”Al, your partner… ” Klotic points at Jalia.

Jalia was trying to slowly crawl her way to the illusion. I stop her by picking her up before she could go any further.

”Jalia, you know you
e not fully healed yet to be moving around. ” I say. ”Why did you… ”

I can say anything else after looking at Jalias eyes. They looked so sad for some reason. Jalia curls up in my arms shaking. I look at Jalia and then at Klotic.

”Im so sorry, did I do something wrong? ” I say.

”The cause appears to be, the illusion. ” Klotic says. ”I suggest dispersing the spell. ”

”Sure, I am getting more worried about her. ” I make it go away. ”I need to stay with her for a bit to calm her down. Klotic can you please bring out the things for the bed in my bag? ”

”Will do. ” Klotic responds.

Klotic goes and does the bed, but Jalia kept shaking for a little while. Not long after Klotic was done setting up the bed Jalia finally calmed down. We needed to get some sleep eventually, so I walked over to the bed and placed her down. I took off my heavy clothes and kept my under shirt and some shorts on. I laid down so then we could keep each other company. With a little petting and humming, she finally fell asleep.

”Do you sleep Klotic? ” I whisper.

Klotic lightly shakes his head in response.

”Okay, please keep a lookout and guard the place for us. ” I whisper again. ”Thanks. ”

The cave is so quiet, it almost makes me forget Im inside. I look at Jalia one last time before I get to sleep. She looks so much at peace compared to before, but not when she randomly makes a faint squeaking sound. I lightly pet her since I think it couldve been a nightmare, her faint squeaking sound is gone after a few pets. Then, when I get drowsy enough, to just close my eyes, Im able to fall asleep.
