The End of White

Everyone in my group stood in front of the rock and placed our hands on it. There was a flash before it went dark.

”Everyone don move your hand yet wait until the number comes up and we write it down before you move your hand. ” The teacher said.

I looked down and watched as the number grew at first quickly before it slowed down. Once the teacher came to a stop at my spot to look at the number he gasped.

”W..wow you worked hard. ” he said with amazement before writing it down. With another quick glance at my score, he walked on to the next person. With which I quickly dropped my hand from the rock not wanting to keep holding it and show off like Ethan. I waited a few minutes as they checked everyone in my group before the teacher did an announcement.

”Ok, after checking this group I would like to first congratulate this groups highest scorer who I can tell worked really hard. Come on up Josh! ” The teacher said before turning to look at me.

Slowly I walk over to the teacher before stopping next to him. There was whispering as people looked at me in horror.

Jeffery do you think I should apologize like I planned? I ask him because his is the smartest one out of the other two and me put together.

Master I believe that would be the best choice. The reason being is that what if you wanted information the best way would be to use mindless fans. He stated during a pause as I stared at the crowed as they looked at me with questions and a little fear. Then before they had a moment to think I placed my hand over my heart and bow my head down.

”I apologize to the people who were there during the power awakening exam and the potential rating. I had no control over my powers at the time and it got out of control before I could reign it in. ” I stated.

There was a quick intake of breath as people looked at me with wide eyes. After a pause someone said something, which then others started and quickly became a clamor of everyone saying almost the same thing.

”Its OK! ”

”Don worry! ”

”Stand up we know you didn mean it! ”

As the clamor got louder the longer, I stayed bowed down. Because of this the teacher walked up and forced me to stand up straight before addressing the students.

”OK, everyone he apologized and even bowed so calm down so we can continue with the test. ” He said before subtly nudging on my back. With a quick fake smile I turn and head off the stage.

Once I make my way back to idiot #2 black smoke appears before I can blink and Vicky is once more all over him. Which had me narrowing my eyes. I think Ive been giving her too much freedom. Even Jacob hasn been out here doing anything just siting on the other side.

Master do you want me to talk to her? She is out of line for doing what she just did. Jeffery said.

No let me I will torture her not like she will die here if I do she will just remember not to do it again without asking. Jacob said although I think that he was excited to do what he just said.

No need I got it. I said before locking my eyes on Vicky.

”Vicky… ” I say is a nice and smooth voice knowing that the students near us are listening in on the conversation and watching me.

She froze before slowly turning to look at me with wide eyes.

”Can you tell me why did you come out? Did I say to come out? Did you ask? If something like this happens again then don expect to have the freedom Ive been giving you again. You will be like Jacob, just sitting there waiting until I can let him out. Now go back and don just come out on your own again. ” I said slowly and steadily so that she wouldn miss a word. Then before anyone could blink she was gone in a puff of black smoke.

”Josh why did you go and do that! ” Idiot #2 whined as he reached for my arm sleeve. Quickly dodging his hand I answer his question.

”She is my demon and left without my orders and didn even ask for permission. Thats like you have a slave and she says she is now free and leaves. Its just wrong. ” I said and watch as he nodded his head. Out of the corner of my eye I see a few people recording what was going on. Shifting a little so that they could get a clear shot of my face.

Slowly group after group went on stage and one after another the other members of S class showed up. With the weakest power ranking being 8 and the highest tying between me and Ethan with a 10. After watching the other six people in S Class come on stage then go off the test was over.

After another long and boring speech, we were told that after next week the first day of real classes will start and we needed to show up. Those who didn were out the school. With that we left the testing sight.

As I was walking, I remembered my plan to make it easy for me to get information, so I pulled out my phone to check the form online. After a quick glance on the page that was allowed for freshmen before closing the page and putting my phone away. The form has four different parts Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. When you go up a grade you open up the next level and keep the previous level open. So, my name is now all over the Freshmen level. Now I just need to get stronger.
