Chapter 128 – All-out battle!!

There is a mass covering half of this giant room and almost reaching the ceiling, with a huge face floating around on its surface.
It’s clearly not the size of a human face.

Looking at it more closely, I see it’s composed of many mushrooms.

It’s Rihalzam’s face.

A loud, piercing laughter comes out of the hideous lips made of mushrooms.

It was a lie.
I knew, it was a lie! Ru, st, Ru, st, Ru, st.
You’re alive? You are.
Ooh.
Now I can kill you! Kill! I will kill you.”

The face rolls around, I guess in excitement.
He’s screaming something I don’t understand while rotating inside viscous liquid, and the face composed of mushrooms is gradually getting closer to me.

The last time I saw him, he was waddling away, covered in mushroom smoothie.

It looks like he changed completely.

Rihalzam’s mushroom face moves frantically around the viscous liquid while spouting nonsense, and the mushroom people in the room dump the contents of their plates.
All of it falls into Rihalzam’s slimy body.

Where the food falls, black mushrooms line up, looking almost like teeth.
But they don’t just look like teeth, they actually chew the food as it falls on that slimy body.

“Is that really you Rihalzam? Did you get covered in too much mushroom juice, and ended up turning into a mushroom demon…?”

I mumble without thinking, and Rihalzam reacts sharply.

“I’m hu, man! Kill! Kill! Kill! Ru, st, kill!”

The mushroom teeth chewing the food spit it out everywhere, like they’re indignant.
The mush flying from the slime dirties the walls and floor.

The mushroom teeth gather slime from Rihalzam’s slimy body until it’s the size of a person, before jumping out.

The slime takes a humanoid form, with the mushroom teeth in its head.

They come towards us while chomping.

“Watch out! We have to destroy all those teeth, or it won’t stop!”

Ahri says as her future sight activates.
Everyone jumps to action with this warning in mind.

We take position near the entrance and get ready to intercept the slimy body with teeth that’s coming to attack us.

“Is it stupid? It’s exposing its weak point.”

Whispers Roa, before using her spear to pierce each mushroom tooth with precision.
All the teeth are pierced, and the slime starts losing its shape and melting.

“Do you need fine slashes? I am raring to go.”

Says Taula, sounding like she’s having fun for some reason.
She unleashes a slash faster than I can see, and destroys the teeth on top, before doing it again to the ones at the bottom.

And thus, an all-out battle against Rihalzam begins.
