The Witch and The Prince

Princess Tata Edwards heart accelerated as she wondered whom was knocking at her door. She craned her ears to listen to the persons heartbeat and discovered it was a feminine, she walked closer to her door and asked from within, ”Whos there?. ”

The maid standing at the door was scared and worried as she was sent by Prince Matthew Osas to actually delivered some new clothes to the strange woman. Her hands shook as she lean to knock again, just then she heard the strange woman questioned ”whos there? ” And she replied, ”Prince Matthew said I should deliver this clothes to you. ”

Princess Tata Edwards opened her room door and meet the.maid stood with her head bent lowered. She asked, ”What is it?, ”

”Prince Matthew said I should deliver this clothes to you and you can test them tomorrow before he arrives. ” The maid replied and wanted to hand the clothes over to princess Tata Edwards. But Princess Tata didn stretch her hands to collect it either.

She was a princess back in Jalin and she.doesnt touch clothes except for the time she had to go and pick up a maid clothing from the hanger she.had spread it. She shifted for the maid to walk into the room, and the maid nervously came in and dropped the clothes on the bed. She turned and left and Princess Tata went to lock the door.

She stared at the clothes wondering why the prince was nice to her. Few minutes later she went to take her bath in the bathroom, socking herself deep in the warn bathtub waters.

After she was thru taking her bath, she.stepped out and went to dry her body before picking up one of the clothes that she.assumed was a night.gown.

Princess Tata picked up the blue night gown and wore it before finally climbing up on her bed.

The following morning, she overslept and woke up with the continuous knocking at the door. ”Whos that?, ” she questioned as she stood up and went to check the door, forgetting Prince Matthew had warned her not to allow anyone into the room.

Opening the.dorr she.meet Prince Matthew standing by the door already dress in his noble attire and was just.waling up from sleep. Looking to stare at the cloth she discovered it was already past 10am in the morning.

”Good morning my princess, ” Prince Matthew greeted her first and she stiffened, thinking he had already found out about her true identity.

”Good morning your highness, ” Princess Tata Edwards replied and Prince Matthew smiled to her.

”Why not my prince, I will definitely like to be addressed as that, ”he told her.

”Okay, ” she replied him still standing at the door

”May I?, ” Prince Matthew asked her if he could come into the room and she nodded, forgetting that she hadn arranged the room as her clothes and pant as of the previous night was still on the floor.

Prince Matthew stepped into the room and she closed the door and followed him for behind.

”Have you taken you bath yet?, ” He asked her and she stepped away from behind him and went to pick up her clothes and pant that was on the floor, her hair was still scattered so it dropped to her front as she bent to pick it.

Prince Matthew Osas went to the chair placed in the room to seat, so he could properly have a glance at her before going for the council meeting. She was looking so pretty and the sun rays made her hair shone brighter. He could see her face clearly compared to the previous night he first saw her.

Prince Matthew stood up and turned to leave, he said, ”I came to check on you, but am not sure if I would have the chance to for the rest of the day. I will speak to my brother to let him know of your stay here in this palace, see you around. ”

Princess Tata Edwards just stared at him and watched him leave. She didn go back to lock her room doors, she stayed put in her room and later went to take her shower as she wanted to try on the lovely gown that the maid had given to her the previous night.

She forgot she hasn even thank the prince yet for his hospitality and a smile spread on her face as she thought the prince probably liked her.

Drying her body with the shirt tower, she decided to try on the gown and took on the purple colour gown to wear. It suited her and brought out her beauty. She smiled as she walked to the full mirror that hung on the wall. She zipped the gown zip upwards as the seamstress as fixed the zip on the sides. Looking her face in the mirror, she picked up the white powder and dusted a little on her face, before adding a wet lip gloss to enhance her looks.

She smiled sweetly again, applying the mascara to her eye lashes and she blinked to herself before going back to her bed to seat as she couldn step out from the room.

Few minutes later a maid came knocking and came into the room. Princess Tata asked her, ”Can I get a veil from the seamstress?. ”

The maid nodded and served her breakfast as lunch as it was already past twelve, she tasted it first before leaving. Princess Tata smiled knowing they were only doing their duty by tasting the food first, but she couldn be poisoned and her body was an antidote.

She opened the tray of food and stared eating the fruit salad that they serve her.

Prince Matthew Osas went to the meeting hall on the second building, luckily his brother didn report the beauty to them. He sat on his respective seat as the head seat was still vacant. The head in council Mr Donald Davis stood up and spoked about the town request. After he was thru reading his report, and chief stood up and spoked about the bad road as the former king had promised to fix it before he left. They went on debating about the important needs that should be done first and another chief stood up and said, ”The Coronation date has to be fixed today my prince!. ”

The men went on arguing and after Timothy stood up and read the final conclusion to Prince Matthew ..

”My Prince, Do you agree with the elders request to fix the coronation date this weekend?, ” Timothy read out the remaining request that weren to complex.

”Fine, Fix the date, Agreed!, ” Prince Matthew said, and Prince Henry Osas whom sat in the other side of the meeting hall across to his brother stared at him in shock, wondering if it wasn that strange woman that made him agree to marry.

One of the elders in council Mr Chibest Steve stood up and said, ”Long live our prince, but my prince has the bride already been picked, so we will know and inform our daughters to accept other eligible suitors. ”

And Mr Donald stood up and said, ”Why not!. My daughter as already won so shes the next queen of our land, or isn that so my prince?. ”

Prince Matthew Osas stared at the two elderly men not saying any wird to them at first, he looked back at Timothy and questioned the secretary, ”What have you written?. ”

”Coronation fixed my prince!. ”

”Good, you we all find out whom the bride is on the coronation day, ” Prince Matthew said and he stood up.

”But my prince, isn my daughter the chosen one?, ” Mr Donald Davis questioned and Prince Matthew turned to stare at him, ”This meeting is over, every other question should be rescheduled till after my coronation, ” and he meet Mr Donald gaze and said, ”Does that settles your question?. ”

”Yes my prince. ”

Prince Matthew left the meeting hall and just as he was going up to the study room, Prince Henry came to meet him.
