ve bright boy suddenly moved towards a kind of dark and sinister feeling.

“Because you suspected me, but you couldn’t find any evidence, you had to block me first, right?”

He licked his lips and said with a smile, “How could you suspect me?— -It wasn’t suspicion.
The way you looked at that time, you were already sure it was me, right?”

“It’s strange.
Why did you think so? I’m sure you didn’t learn it from Wu Junyong, right?”

Without waiting for Chang Qing’s answer, Qin Lang himself replied, “There’s no way Wu Junyong would say my name, and I don’t think I would reveal anything, so the only possibility – Qing Qing, could it be that you’re clairvoyant?”

Then he shook his head pretending to be annoyed, “How could you, as a clairvoyant, not know what I would do next? If you knew, how could you be so calm?”

Qin Lang felt a little joy at his own answer, the corners of his lips curled into a wide smile.
His eyes, which had always been affectionate, were as dark as the deep sea with a piercing cold and chill.
In such weather, if you looked at him, you would be cold from your head to the soles of your feet.

“Since it’s not prophecy, could it be… rebirth?” When Qin Lang said the last two words, his eyes were fixed on Chang Qing’s.

Chang Qing shuddered slightly.
He hardly dared to look directly into Qin Lang’s eyes and hung his head almost awkwardly.

Seeing his trembling shoulders, Qin Lang smiled slightly, rather proud of himself, “It seems that I’m right.”

“There are many unexplainable things in the world.
I believe this absurd conclusion rather than you finding out anything.”

“Silly Qing Qing, even if you’re reborn, you can’t stop anything.
Lu Xuan, Lu Zheng, Lu Shi and Lu Hua, I’ll get rid of them — I’ll get rid of them.
I’ve succeeded once.” Qin Lang said the frightening truth without hesitation, and watched Chang Qing’s reaction with great interest.

But unfortunately, Chang Qing didn’t give him any reaction.

Qin Lang wasn’t disappointed.
He sat cross-legged in front of Chang Qing and said softly, “Do you know how Lu Chenghui and Qin Mingzhu died? If you want to know, I can tell you… If you can get out, maybe you can use it to expose my true face.

He said this, as if he found it interesting and smiled slightly, “How about it? Do you want to know?”

Qin Lang had always been patient, so he waited a good five minutes for Chang Qing’s reply, “I don’t want to know.”

Qin Lang raised the corners of his lips, “Don’t want to? But I want to say it.

Chang Qing finally raised his face.
He suppressed his voice, “Don’t say it!” His tone became a bit weak again.
“Don’t say it.” He repeated.

Qin Lang knew him well, and he could see what Chang Qing was thinking at a glance, “Because Lu Hua is here?”

He smiled.
“She’s a lovely little girl.
She looks just like my mother.”

He looked at Chang Qing’s face, and his voice sank, “That’s why I hate her.”

“You don’t want me to say it? Then I’ll say it,” Qin Lang said, putting the tape back on Chang Qing’s mouth.

He stretched out two fingers and raised Chang Qing’s face in a leisurely manner, “Listen carefully, I’ll only tell you.”

He laughed and spoke slowly: “One thing I’ve learned since I was a kid is that the most convenient way to dominate someone is to make them afraid.
If they are afraid enough, they will comply with everything and do whatever they’re told to do.”

“That driver was afraid of me.
I told him to die, and he really died, incidentally running over Lu Chenghui and Qin Mingzhu.”

“But it has nothing to do with me.
After all, I just told him to go die.
Who knew that he would accidentally run over and kill Lu Chenghui and his wife?”

Qin Lang shook his head, “It’s a regrettable accident.”

He smiled slightly.
“This accident made me very happy, really happy.
You wouldn’t understand it if I told you.
You just need to know that I was really happy during that time.”

He seemed to recall something, and the deepness in his eyes was intense.
The darkness that had almost turned into substance faded slightly, and a soft brilliance surged out, “That was really a happy day, enough to reminisce on for a lifetime.”

Chang Qing closed his eyes, his fingers trembling.

Qin Lang noticed this and reached out and gently grasped his finger.
“Are you afraid of me?”

He said thoughtfully, “Many people are afraid of me, but more people are not afraid of me.
They like me, love me, respect me and worship me as a god.
As long as I give the word, they will go through fire and water for me.”

“I understood it when I was 17 years old.
This was the best.
No one would doubt me.
Everyone thought I was a good person.
Even I believed it myself.
How innocent, how pitiful, how helpless, and how…humble.

“I’m so innocent, pitiful, helpless, and humble, but you have banned me with a single word.
Is it wrong for me to take revenge on you?” Qin Lang said in a low voice.
His fingers ignored Chang Qing’s struggle, and he rubbed his palm as if nothing had happened.

He smiled and looked at Chang Qing’s short messy hair, “Do you understand, Chang Qing? It’s all your fault.
If you pretended that you didn’t know anything and didn’t investigate me, I wouldn’t have planned ahead.
I wanted to deal with Lu Zheng in a more secure and less eye-catching way, but now everything has changed.”

After saying these words, he stood up and took one last condescending look at them.
“… Now have a good rest, the best is yet to come.”

After saying these words, he left the cabin without looking back.

Chang Qing took a deep breath, but because of the obstruction of the tape, he couldn’t breathe properly.

At this time, he heard the sound of a tearful sob being suppressed.

Chang Qing stiffened and turned his head to look over.
Lu Hua’s slender shoulders trembled slightly, and even her calf and stomach were twitching.

She was awake! She heard it all!

The author has something to say: Qin Lang is really bad… The kind that can’t be washed white, the later was deliberately told to Lu Hua.
I’ll try to update as much as possible and go through the plot quickly.
Before I perfect Qin Lang’s character design, there will still be scenes.

T/L: This is the first time I’ve seen a villain (or anyone else) guess “rebirth” without having any kind of proof that was even possible.
I mean, he was wrong.
But he was very very close…

Anyway this is the last of the scheduled posts so hopefully I’ll be back on a more regular update schedule soon.
