”Eurgh, my head… ” Luon staggers while holding her head. Stumbling around she looks around her room. ”This is…my old room? ”

Starting to realize her situation she finds a mirror.

It was her 16 year old self.

”Hehehahhahaha!!! I see, I see. ” Luon wasn even the little bit confused, in fact.

”The time rewound huh? Ive heard of this magic and even tried finding it, but there was nothing. Why have time rewound though? Well either way. ”

She lays down on her back and holds out her hand.

”Dia wait for me, Im coming to get you. ” She blushes a little and looks at bliss.

Flashback

Sitting hunchback away from camp was a dark magician. They had their hood over their head and was alone and cold.

”Want some soup? ”

She turns to looks at who it was and it was Dia. Realizing that he might see his face she quickly turns away.

”Im good thanks. ”

”You need some food to fight you know. ”

”…Aren you scared of me? ”

”Huh? ”

”Im a dark magician, I use spells against the law of nature and have been cursed. ”

Dia stares at her and speaks, ”Well why would I be scared of a girl shivering in fear? ”

”W-what? Didn you listen? Im a dark magician! ”

”Sigh~ ” he looks to the sky. ”Sometimes I feel more scared of humans. ”

”Huh? ”

”Humans have a 2 sided face and can turn against you at any time. ”

The dark magician turns and mutters, ”Yeah, I can understand that. ”

”But its because of truly kind people that I want to believe. ”

”In what? ”

”That humans are capable of being kind. Haha just like you. ”

”Huh What are you- ” The wind blows her hood away and her hair showing her face, scared and burnt. ”No! ” she screeched and cowered down trying to hide her face.

She remembers all of the pain and ridicule that people would talk about.

She was waiting for a response, but when she didn get one she peeks a little, even though she was scared and her eyes opened wide.

Dia was…crying.

”W-why, why are you crying? ”

”H-huh, I-Im sorry, I didn mean to. ”

Dia was undoubtedly crying for her and that tugged at her heart and she also began to tear up.

After finally getting all of their sadness out the 2 felt even closer or from Luons perspective anyway.

”So why were you crying? ”

”Sniff, nothing just thinking what you could have gone through made me cry a little. ”

”Pfft hahaha, thats it? ”

Dia puts the palm of his hand on the top of her head.

”You must have suffered. ”

”Stop it…you
e gonna make me cry again. ”

She turns her head in order to not bawl out tears again.

”Don worry, as long as Im here Ill protect you. ”

She stares at him and her heart thumps.

”Ill use you like a meatshield, meatshield. ”

”Hahaha Im fine with that. In exchange, smile a little! ”

”Oi just because I gave you an inch doesn mean a mile. Take it too far and Ill destroy you. ”

”Not if I run first muahahaha. ”

She looks at the idiotic dia running like a crab and she puts her head into her knees.

”What a idiot. ” the edge of her lips tiping upwards.

”Why!? I gave up everything for this kingdom! So why- ”

”Why? Of course because you

Luon looks at the 3 soldiers in front of her. ”Are they afraid they won be able to contain me? They must be really underestimating me by sending only 3 ** ups to kill me. ”

”3? You mean 3,000? ”

”!? ” Luon now realizes how big of a problem this was. ”Wow all this just to kill me, Im so grateful. ”

”Enough chit chat, give us the tome. ”

”What
e you talking about? ”

”Don play dumb. We know you got something from that dungeon, or rather that tome. We heard it was something the gods left? ”

”Lets do this quick, I want to play with her after. ” he licks his lips looking her up and down.

”Disgusting, at this point you might be willing to pin down a pig. ” the other 2 look in disgust.

”A girl is a girl, no matter what you say. Besides…hehehe It wouldn be very gentlemanly to kill her while she hasn experienced the joy of love. ”

She looks at him in disgust. ”Ah Im gonna cut off you d**k and feed it to the pigs. ”

”Pfft hahaha try your best to not squeal when I play with you. ”

The fight begins and immediately Luon castes dark magic. Skeleton warriors raised from the dead and ghosts were attacking them.

”Ah! ” they screamed, as they were covered by darkness.

”Was that too easy? ”

The spot where they were glowed with a holy light and the darkness along with the skeletons faded.

”What!? ”

They took her down holding her by the neck on the ground.

”Suprised? ”

The thing that had guarded them against the darkness.

”H-holy magic. ”

”Thats right! We received blessings from the saint herself. You really think your darkness will win against us ehheheh. ”

He started untying his belt.

”Hey you 2 go guard the outside. ”

”You don have to tell us, we don want to be a part of this. ”

”Seriously, how are you not disgusted even a bit. ”

They left leaving them alone.

”Lets have some fun. ” he unbuckles his belt even further and get rid of his clothes. She was scared and yelled out asking for help.

”Hehehe who are you asking for help? No ones around to- ” in an instant his head fell over and he was dead.

What stood there seemed to be an animal of mass destruction. Dia held out his hand to her. She wiped her tears and was going to hold out her hand to him, but then she started doubting him as well.

”A-Are you after the tome as well!? ” She didn want it to be true, but the more she thought about it, the more it seem likely. I mean, why else would he talk to her.

”Sorry about this. ” he grabbed her forcefully. At this point she was mentally exhausted, so she felt empty and didn resist. He took off her cloak and tied her up, stuffing a cloth into her mouth.

Dia opened a box that was half her size and put her in there.

[What is he?] At that moment life returned to her eyes. She was a rather smart woman so she was starting to realize what was happening.

[Is he…saving me?] She thinks about it even more. [No no no, theres no way. But he could have killed me and took my tome, but instead he takes my cloak?]

She hears noise from the outside. Thousands of horses stomping around. Then people wearing armor came in.

”Tch all the guards are dead? ”

”Yes sir, they seem to have been sliced to death. ”

”Hmm. ” he looks around and sees a box. He walks up to it and says, ”Weve surrounded the area, but she hasn been noticed running out, in other words… ” he put his hand on the box and Luon felt her heart drop.

Just as he was about to open it a soldier came reporting in, ”Sir weve spotted a soldier in armor and the dark magician on horseback. ”

”Send all forces to attack, we can let them get away. Or else his majesty will kill us all. ”

Wasting no more time they rush to the location. The Dark magician notices that all life was gone and came out. Looking around the room, she notices a small dagger and the body of that bastard was gone. ”Dia, did you… ” hurriedly taking the dagger she cut loose from the ties.

She circulated her mana with the death energy and notices that the death aura were coming from the south.

Following it on foot and using magic to speed her up she arrives to the moment that Christine holds him.

”No, you promised to be by my side. ” She heard the words and she became afraid. [d-don take away my memories] as she recalls the moment that Dia had said it as well. ”Ill stay by your side. ”

”I see…Lets go home together Dia. ” She looked up at these words and in shock his tattered body had already turned to particles flowing into the back of her hand.

”STOP! ”

Flashback ends

Luon standing over the mirror, ”this time itll be different. ”

She touches the part of her face that used to have been burnt.

”If only I had this courage then, I wouldn have had to burn my own face. ”

She dresses up.

”Servants! ”

No one came to her. ”Thought so… ”

She walks out the door and grabbed a maid by the cuffs.

”M-miss? ”

”Tell father, I want to discuss something with him. ”

”B-but the sire is… ”
