Thanks to this without my intention Rini’s and Irene’s image of me seemed to have improved.

“Your Grace, what’s the matter? What do you mean with ‘hardships’?”

Just by looking at Irene asking this with a comfortable face, I could see that we have gotten a lot closer.

As I controlled the growing rage inside of me, I smiled at Rini and Irene, who looked both equally concerned and said: “There are two roads.”

The two tilted their heads at the sudden remark.
How cute.

“One is not bad, but it’s likely going to turn out as the wrong choice.”

I mean leaving the palace in which I am receiving great care.

“And the other one.”

The other is, ‘Daniel’.

“What about the other one?”

“The other way has almost no likelyhood of being the wrong choice, but it’s probably going to get very complicated.”

It would have been great if the crown prince was just a regular male lead.

She, a powerless princess who has an empress as a mother with a powerful family, is the only one who the prince wants to kill because of her mother’s origin.

My only hope was to give up the sucession right, but that was also off limits.

If I were to run away, I am likely going to die.  That being said, I couldn’t just throw my succession right into their faces and go.

So what I found was Daniel.

“Is there no possibility that the answer could be incorrect?”

“Huh.”

A man who laughs at the empire and disappears by throwing the final crisis at the moment the crown prince marries Ariel.

Daniel was stronger than the Crown Prince.
The crown prince has sacrificed a lot to defeat him.

At the end of the story, he said he would lead his people away.
That’s why the Empire has found peace.

Almost like a demon king.

It would be better if I could step in when he leaves, but anyway he’s strong.

He was a man, who cared very a lot about his people.
So if I became one of his people, I could probably be protected when I leave the palace.
That was the perfect answer for me.

“By the way, did you say there is a high possibility of it becoming complicated?”

“Yes.”

Lini and Arin nodded blankly at the successive questions and cried out.

Yeah, it’s a bad choice.

Daniel is not a sub-male-lead, but a black-faced character.
That means a dangerous person.

Even his current job is the head of the assassination guild! I don’t even know his face!

‘First of all, Daniel…’

He was a person who hated the royal family.
I’m a princess of that exact royal family.

But Daniel is the only way to confront the Crown Prince.

“It’s difficult.”

Irene opened her mouth while thinking about it: “But I would choose the latter.”

“Huh? Why?”

“That’s the answer.
No matter how bad things go, wouldn’t the answer work out somehow? As long as you hang in there.”

I tried to imitate the expression of enduring without realizing it.

Leticia unnie’s memory seems to be unraveled once a year.
The memory I found today was one, where my unnie was about 3 years old.

My unnie,  who looked about 3 years old was a crazy pretty girl.
But she was cold.

She has no expressions, walks silently and does not give a glance around her.

Children of that age tend to be fluffy just by standing still.

“It was so pretty, though.”

My unnie’s personality was the same when she was young!

I was thrilled when the memory came to my mind like a video with sound.

“Life is beautiful!”

She must have decided what to do, and her memory must have been a video formula.
There was nothing lacking anymore.

“So! Now I’m a fanatic!”

Fanning means liking something very much.

Yes! I’ve been enduring a hard life for 9 days because I wanted to enjoy what is coming!

“Our beautiful sub-men.
Our supporting characters…!”

They were the main characters for me, the ones who I really like.

And they were all victims.

Although Leticia unnie died as a wicked woman, they were those who loved the female lead, got hurt, gave up their dreams and died all for her.

Even some of their deaths were caused by the crown prince’s obsession with having the heroine Ariel all for himself.
It was a terrible fact.

“The prince, he couldn’t stand having someone else closer to Ariel than him.”

To be honest, the prince hated everyone who liked Ariel.

If it wasn’t hatred, he wouldn’t have killed the knight who offered his loyalty to her and cut off his right arm.

“I’m sorry for him, uh ….”

Ariel was generally saddened by seeing those, who were sacrificed for her cause.
I’m sorry to hear that, but thank you! Just like this.

“Did they run into it on their own?”

The death or loss of a sub-male-lead, or the loyalty of a girl, which is so deep that she eats poison in her stead.

It is also the final attack that contains the sacrifice of a woman who gave up on her lifelong dream for her friend and the deep sorrow of the villain.

All of them were tools that solidified their love.

“Now that I am in the book, I will watch my favorite characters become happy.”

Even if I can’t get directly involved in the original work, I can spray “seeds” that won’t get caught up in the original work before the story starts.

I can’t wait to see how beautiful they are.

A Beautiful world

Ariel, the heroine in the original, was a lovely girl with long sky blue hair and sky blue eyes.

Ariel had a lot of tears.
And with those tears she triggered the protective instincts of two people in the imperial palace and the male lead, the crown prince.

Eugene was the first sub-male-lead to fall in love with Ariel.

As he was the first to appear, he remained acquainted with Ariel for the longest time.

And because of his acquaintance with her, he falls into the Prince’s schemes and dies.

I decided to meet the sad sub-character Eugene first.

This is because Eugene Lee was the most narrow-minded and had the worst perception of our Leticia-unnie.

‘That’s because there are so many rumors about her misdeeds.’

Still, he did not have a direct incident with unnie, so I thought that given a small opportunity, I could expect a drastic change.

Eugene de Bolton.

He was a Free Knight.  ‘Free Knight’ refers to a knight recognized by the McNahan family, the bloodline of the greatest knight.
It meant that he was a very strong and respected knight.

Eugene was the strongest out of all the Free Knights.

However, he was from the Empire and there was one regulation for free knights from the Empire.

In order to receive the support of the imperial family for all his life, he has to work as a knight inside the Imperial palace for more than a year.

Right now Eugene was a free knight during that one-year mandatory reinstatement.
He’s also assigned to the pricess’ palace.
Although I’m resting on my own right now…

In other words, it was the closest original character to me.

He hated the cold atmosphere of Leticia-unnie.
And that’s why he fell for Ariel.

He fell in love at first sight with Ariel, the complete opposite of Leticia-unnie.

Anyway, I knew about the goal he was persuing before he fell for Ariel, 

His purpose was later exploited by the prince and led him to death.

If I help him archive it, maybe Eugene will leave the palace without having regrets and could wander freely around the world.

Knock, knock, knock, knock!

“Are you there?”

As soon as I woke up in the morning, I walked for a while and arrived here, at Sir Eugene de Bolton’s private quarters.

‘He’s the most influenced by the rumors, so I might as well convince him of of their falsehood when showing him a different image of myself, right?

There were some calculations on which I based my efforts on, so I was confident in making him like me a little more.

I can leave a good impression just by breaking down a small prejudice.
And by helping him achieve his goal, I might as well will be able to form a friendship with him.

To be close to him? That would be great.

I was still deep in thought while the door before me opened.

And just like a scene out of  a movie, a man appeared in front of me.
