I slept soundly like no other day but then I was also curious the king wants to meet me! well its a good thing that the king didn find me troublesome.

”but what does the king want to talk to me about? I asked myself tossing round the bed.

”maybe, he wants to talk about the

prince I thought smiling to myself

what if thats not what he wants to say

I said to myself trying to think more ”.

” well, until tomorrow! I said

trying to fall asleep but couldn .

I kept tossing round and round until I feel asleep living my dream world.

”I arrived at the garden! what brings me here I said to myself feeling cold

oh! I exclaimed I have seen someone

drawing a sword earlier so, I walked out to check unknown to me, outside was freezing I could freeze beyond normal.

”is anyone there? I called out moving

towards the garden. I didn see anyone

frustrated I walked into the garden sat down on the swing singing a lovely song

I do not know if I have ever heard such

song but its really pleasing to the ear.

all of a sudden I saw a figure covering my shoulder with a blanket. out of fear I jerked up only to bump on the figure

”who are you? I asked shivering so bad.

” you were looking for me! you called

out to me the person said with his back turned against me.

”I tried to look closely at his face but every step I take he turns his face away.

”do you have any questions? he asked.

” no! I only want to see your face! I said mildly hoping he will turn towards me.

”no! he didn ! the next thing I felt a figer caressing my hair. he leaned closely to my left ear and whispered ”your hair is very soft and dark and oily as well.

” the way he spoke send shivers to my spin I do not understand what my body is reacting to. I just stood unshaked not knowing whether to say thank you or not

”well.. I wanted to say something but paused.

” you do not have to say anything he said. meanwhile you are really cold! he said carrying me to a place he made fires on. I tried very hard to see his face but it seems he is wearing a mask.

his body was well covered I couldn tell what he is but I Know he is a male.

he dropped me gently on the mat near the fire and said. ”stay for a little time you feel warm ”. ”meanwhile , I will be going see you next time! ” he said and left.

when he left I felt the presence of loneliness in my heart I didn know why but I didn want him to go!.

”wait! I screamed in my sleep and that sounded out to real life.

” my lady! Nina called! I only came to check on you my lady! Nina said.

”no! no problem Im fine you can go! I said to her looking round the room.

”you asked me to wait my lady hope you are okay? she asked.

” yes! I answered looking out through the window but couldn find anything nor anyone. it looked real to me. I was really bothered I felt like moving outside.

”my lady! please take care! Nina said dropping the curtain which I raised.

”is so cold outside my lady please go under the blanket ”. she said covering me with the blanket as I quietly lay back on the bed. I watched her leave without saying a word I gently closed my eyes and slept off.

the next morning I was already awake staring at the garden looking outside if I could see any fire anywhere.but I didn see anything though the dream looked real to forget so easily.

”my lady! Nina called breakfast is ready!

” get me a dress I have an appointment with the king I said and Nina looked in excitement.

”you are really special my lady! no Princess has seen the king at this time of the year or.. its a rare case seeing the king and now, you want to take a Walk?.

”I will get your dress prepared immediately she said smiling.

”Nina! I called I told you earlier. stop calling me my lady call me by my name.

”whats my ladys name? she asked meekly.

” Im Diamond! I Said and she marveled

” Diamond! wow! what a sweet name! she said smiling sweetly. then she Paused. ”Im afraid my lady! the queen mother will find it offensive!

”why? you are my sister. I consider you and sifa as my sisters and not maids!.

” thats the issue! no maid or servant have such close relationship with its master we always mind our boundaries but you have made us not realize our place anymore! she said sadly in all honesty.

”its okay! the queen mother won do anything but if you don feel good,then do what you want.also, don forget to call me by my name I said to her looking at the mirror then my eyes caught my left ear that got me remembering the words of that person in my dreams and again the feeling I do not understand came up again!.

”Nina! do people draw swords late at night here?.

”I do not know my lady! but no one trains here at night! she answered wearing me my shoe.

”alright! I said standing up! its time already I need to visit the king I said leaving her behind to dress the room.

”I walked all the way to the kings dining!

I learnt it was cold the kings dining because,he always sit there to have bronch and pass out time.

I walked in a majestic way as I can until I got there.

”long live my king! I greeted kneeling down.

” bless you! he answered asking me to rise.

I smiled shyly looking around trying to Praise the environ with my eyes.

”you like it here? he asked and I nodded with a smile.

” do you have a request? he asked.

” I do not my king! I answered mildly wondering why he asked.

” the queen has said you made a request regarding the garden!

” the garden! I thought and my mind flew back to yesterday dream. it was in the garden.! but why is the king asking?

” yes! my king! I can take good care of the flowers I will tend me nicely I said and he smiled! .

” I believe the queen must have told you what that garden mean to me! he said and I nodded. in that case, Ill let you handle the garden for just two weeks!.

he said and I was excited. I have always loved Flowers from tender age seeing this opportunity to feel them every single time,gives me joy.

” Im honoured that my king found me worthy for that positive I said bowing to him.

”you may rise he said smiling broadly at me.

” I really want to share something great with you! he said and I adjusted eager to listen to every word the king has to say.

” I come here to take a space and also,pounder on politics.but today Im free so, I will tell you something great my heart says I should let you know.

”I thought for a moment hearing him talk about politics hope he is not going to tell me that! I looked at him and he was about to say something when a servant Walked in.

” long live my king! my lady may your reign be! he greeted and whispered something to the kings ear and slowly without hurry the king stood up and left at once.

”again! nothing to say I said to myself looking at the table opposite me.

”my lady! you are here! Nina called panting heavily.

” what happened? I asked shocked.

come with me! she said and I followed in hurry.
